Description:

We make this time a Christmas cone from dried and natural materials. The color combination is based on several tints in white. It is very nice to make such a cone and have it with Christmas in our house. It also gives a transparent and special light.

We need for this lesson:

• An metal vase or a white vase or a glass vase.

• Oasis sec.

• Chicken wire.

• White fiber.

• A set Christmas lights with about 20 lamps.

• Aluminum wire or silver wire.

• Christmas balls.

• oasis star shapes made of white foam.

• Eventually additional materials, such as mushrooms and so on.

Step by step:

1. We cut of a piece of chicken wire and roll it up in a cone shape. Cut of the part what is too much. 
2. Fix the cone shape with some extra wire. Bend the sharp pins inside. 
3. Put the lamps inside the cone and fix them with some wire on a few places. 
4. Now we take the white fiber and put them around the cone shape. Fix it with aluminum wire or with silver wire. 
5. In the vase we put Oasis sec and keep it a bit above the vase. 
6. Connect some moss or white fiber over the Oasis. 
7. Now you connect the cone over the vase and fix it with a few stick and some wire. 
8. As decoration we use: small white pinus cones, white chicken feathers and star shapes of white oasis. 
9. On the lower part we hang a few white shells. 
10. Transparent glass balls are connected on silver wire and wired around the cone. 
11. If you want to decorate even further you can do so. Also other kind of white decoration can be very nice.
