Theme: Biedermeier style |

Study level 1 and 2
Style: Biedermeier style, classical with circles.
Description:
This Biedermeier arrangement is a classical shape. We create different
layers. The layers are in a ring shape. We advise to have a good contrast
between the rings to be sure you see them well. In this arrangement there
is not a large central flower, but in stead a nice elegant bunch of
grasses. Because of the simple choice of materials this arrangement is
easy to create.
We need for this lesson:
-
A low container.
-
Oasis, 1 or 2 bread.
-
Green for the lower circle, we used
Asparagus virgatus.
-
Hedera leaves to have more contrast on top
of the wild Asparagus.
-
Rosen bottles or other red materials.
-
Material for a green circle, such as moss
or conifer.
-
Material for another red circle.
-
Hedera berries.
-
A last circle for example conifer or
leaves or another flower.
-
Grass or another elegant material.
Step by step:
- We put the oasis in the container and give it the shape of a half
globe form. The better you do this, the more easy it is to create
perfect circles.
- Put in the central flower first exactly in the middle, or use a
stick for measuring. You can easy find out the middle of the
arrangement and can create good circles.
- Start with the lowest circle and build up one by one.
- Finally you put in the central flower or elegant bundle grasses.
Materials used are: Asparagus virgatus, Hedera, Rosa, Celocia cristata,
Ligustrum berries, mos, Rucbeckia nitida, Miscanthus.
