Description: Environmentally friendly arrangement
We make an alternative arrangement based on the environmentally friendly principle. You need a container, vase or pot, wire netting (growers use this for Chrysanthemum growing and for other flowers, it has a hole size of 10 till 12 cm. You choose flowers you like, I have used Zantedeschia.
Tip. when you not can find this wire netting, you also can make it from old metal of copper wire or you use a smaller size.)

We need for this lesson:

  • A vase, pot or other kind of water proof container.

  • a. 1 meter wire netting.
  • lowers to your choice. Here Zantedeschia are used.
  • he colour combination is ton sur ton. But you also can use any other combination. For a restful design use only one colour.
  • ne kind of green, as example Buxus, Hedera erecta or so to use for the base just above the vase.

Step by step:

  1. Choose flowers 50 cm long. This is depending how big you want to make the arrangement.
  2. Clean the stems and remove the too many leaves till about one third. (This is not necessary by Zantedeschia, Gerbera and some other species)
  3. Prepare flowers and leaves.
  4. Arrange the wire netting in the container and bring it in shape. With the short metal parts you can fix it together. Bend the wire netting in a good shape.
  5. Put in the flowers between the wire netting on the same height.
  6. Use the leaves on top of the container.
  7. Fill the vase each day with water.

Materials: Zantedeschia elliottiana, Asparagus virgatus.
