Description: Environmentally friendly design arrangement
We will make in this workshop an arrangement with as purpose to be simple and elegant. We will do this with an environmentally friendly technique. You need for this a simple metal frame (cage) from a laboratorium and glass tubes. We fill the glass tubes for 50 % with water and a preservative. We use in this arrangement the exotic Anthurium, but you can use nearly any kind of flowers for this arrangement.
Put the arrangement on a restfull place so that you can see the beauty of lines and shapes.

We need for this lesson:

  • A small laboratorium frame (cage).

  • bout 12 till 20 glass tubes.
  • type of flowers you like. Here we used Anthurium.
  • he colour combination is in this case monochromatic. But you can use any other colour combination. For a restfull effect you best choose a single colour.
  • ne kind of green such as Asparagus setaceus. A few branches will give a elegant effect.
  • A few decorative glass balls or little stones give an extra dimension.

Step by step:

  1. Choose the flowers with a lengt of about 40 till 45 cm. This is depending the size of your arrangement.
  2. Fill the glass tubes with water and preservative.
  3. Cut of the stems with a sharp knive an give them and elegant place in the composition.
  4. Use the Asparagus tendrils in a elegant way between and over the Anthuriums.
  5. Top up the glass tubes every few days.

Materials: Anthurium, Asparagus setaceus.
