DutchFlowerLink

Aad van Uffelen

A new website!

It is the third time that my website have a totally new face. Internet is a fantastic medium to tell many people about the challenges of flower art. And of course also about gardening and flowers and plants in general. And not to forget all about art and creativity related to flower art.

To make a website is not so difficult as to keep it updated. The more information such as content, the more difficult it is. DFL previous site contains more than 1000 pages! For a non profit site (it only cost time and money) it is not possible to do that any more.

The most important reason to change the site totally is that I think it must find a better contact with you, our visitors. And it must have a more contemporary outlook. Living, art, design, interior, gardening, it is a wide area DutchFlowerLink will publish about and inspire you.

You have seen that not only the colours of the site are changed. The whole navigation structure is new. Easier to use and much faster. And happely for myself much easier to control and change. Now we can make changes much faster in the future.

Besides the many content pages and many photos (more are to come) our site will be more actual and trendy. During the year around we will bring you different subjects as an extra service on our home page. Short stories and info. Actual, surprising and inspiring. Also others can write for those special pages for our site from now on.

To give you extra service and to cover part of our cost of this site we have started a webshop for you. We will expand it with a nice collection books, tools and accessories for flower arrangers, florists and gardeners.

I think it is time now to find a team of specialists. Enthousiast people who will work together to inform you. Collecting knowledge and spread it out via the site, a great thought!

I hope that you keep coming to visit the sited. Your suggestions and information are welcome. If I can use all of it, I cannot promise. We do our utmost.

We wish you to have much fun in our new site.
