Flowers and plants

For home use preservatives are available in small quantity packages. These make it easy to take care of flowers. Sometimes buying in bulk is cheaper and more sensible when regularly refilling containers or vases.

To keep flowers in a good condition and to let them grow open beautifully, they need besides clean water, also a specific flower food (preservative). Each stadium in the chain from grower till consumer, needs a specific treatment and preservative. Even there are for some individual flowers special flower food. Success only can obtained and guarantied if growers, whole sale, florist and consumer take care for a good treatment and use the best preservative. Flower food exist from about 95 % special sugar, a anti bacteria, some products who improve the drinking water, prevent against yellow leaves, improves better flowering and prevent against ethylene damage. There are products in liquid and in powder.

There are preservatives in three levels, these are:

1. Pre treatment by the grower.
2. Treatment by the flower auction, whole sale and florist.
3. Treatment by the consumer.

For each step there are separate products available. Also there are for groups of flowers or individual flowers special products.

As soon as one of the tree levels do not take care for the flowers, you can notice the result is not as good. The vase live will be shorter.

Consumer products
Special for the use by the consumer there are small sizes flower food. This makes it easy to give a good care for a bouquet or a bunch of flowers. We advise the consumer to have always some flower food in stock. Flower vases must be refilled with water and preservative daily.
