Expect Challenge. Achieve Distinction.

Norwich University is the nation’s oldest private military college—and the birthplace of ROTC—serving a diverse student body that reflects the world today. In addition to those in military service, we serve civilian students and a large online student body. At Norwich, you’ll develop traits common among leaders in every profession—discipline, integrity, confidence, loyalty, and honor.

Norwich prepares future leaders to tackle the complex challenges of tomorrow through larger-than-life projects. Whether they’re providing cybersecurity at the Super Bowl, working to improve a NASA mini-satellite, or joining an expedition to Antarctica, our students develop real-world skills that translate to fulfilling, rewarding careers. You’ll find peers you can relate to, faculty who provide diverse perspectives, and activities that challenge you to excel every day.

We also believe in making Norwich University affordable and accessible to all qualified students. Upon acceptance, you can earn up to $30,000 in aid per year based on your GPA. We’ll help you navigate scholarships, grants, and loans to maximize your eligibility for financial aid. Students accepted for admission can expect Norwich to be their most affordable four-year private university option for residential education. Visit norwich.edu/admissions for full details on our Commitment to Affordability policy.

Norwich offers students 30+ bachelor’s degree programs, 22 NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams, varsity and club level esports, ROTC programs, and strong merit- and need-based aid.

We welcome you to become part of our tradition—indeed, a part of our family.
